## Objective
Develop consistent technique, court awareness, and team communication in ball control, passing, setting through high-repetition game-like execution.

## Setup & Court Layout
- Players: 6 players on each side of the net

- Equipment: 1 volleyball

- Coach/Server: Tosses or serves the ball to initiate play

## Step-by-Step Instructions
- Server or coach tosses/throws a ball over the net to the opposing team.

- First player catches the ball, simulating a pass.

- Player throws to their designated “setter,” who then throws to their “hitter.”

- The hitter throws the ball over the net to the other team.

- Continue rally play, always aiming for three controlled touches before sending the ball over.

- Suggested reps/time: Run for 8–10 minutes, or until all players demonstrate understanding of the three-touch sequence.

## Key Coaching Points
- Reinforce that each team should strive for three touches whenever possible.

- Encourage players to call out touches and positions (e.g., “I’m first!”) to learn rotation and communication.

- Teach players to look for open spaces on the opponent’s court when sending the ball over.

- Common Game Situation: This drill mirrors real game play by introducing the fundamental three-touch sequence (pass, set, hit) that underpins nearly every rally.

## Variations & Progressions
- The coach can toss the ball instead of serving to keep the play consistent.

- Once players understand the three-touch sequence, transition from catching and throwing to actual passing, setting, and hitting.
