## Objective
Develop consistent technique, court awareness, and team communication in warm-up, ball control, defense, down balls, hitting, offense, outside hitter, passing, pass-set-hit, setting through high-repetition game-like execution.

## Setup & Court Layout
- Players: 3 active players on each side (middle back, setter, outside hitter), with a line of players waiting to rotate in at middle back

- Court: Full court with standard net setup

- Equipment: Volleyballs, net

- Roles: Coach initiates free balls, players rotate positions after each contact, line supplies new players

## Step-by-Step Instructions
- Coach initiates play by sending a free ball to the middle back.

- Middle back passes to the setter.

- Setter sets to the outside hitter.

- Outside hitter executes a controlled attack or down ball to the opposite middle back.

- Players follow their ball:
Passer → becomes setter
Setter → becomes hitter
Hitter → goes to end of the middle back line

- Rally continues with the same sequence on both sides of the net.

- Teams count contacts aloud, aiming for 25 total successful contacts before the other team.

- Suggested reps: Play until 25 contacts are achieved, repeat for 3–4 rounds (10–12 minutes total).

## Key Coaching Points
- Communication: Players should call every ball loudly and clearly.

- Consistency: Controlled, repeatable contacts are more important than power.

- Footwork: Stay low and balanced when passing and setting.

- Rotation Awareness: Move quickly and efficiently into the next role.

- Common Game Situation: Reinforces extended rallies where teams must maintain control, communication, and rhythm to outlast opponents.

This is a great warm-up drill to get players moving, communicating, and focused on team ball control before progressing into more advanced drills.

## Variations & Progressions
- Increase Goal: Raise the target from 25 to 30 or more contacts for advanced groups.

- Add a Fourth Player: Rotate through four positions instead of three.

- Multi-Court Competition: Run two courts at once and race to the contact goal.
