Develop consistent technique, court awareness, and team communication in blocking, defense, hitting, offense, passing, serve defense, serving, setting through high-repetition game-like execution.

## Setup & Court Layout
- Players:
Attacking side: 6 players (setter, passers, and hitters)
Defending side: 4 blockers at the net, 1 server, and 2 back-row defenders

- Court: Full court

- Equipment: Volleyballs, net

- Roles: Defending side initiates serve; blockers form a double block; attackers work to score against the block

## Step-by-Step Instructions
- Defending side begins with a serve to the attacking side.

- Defending side sets up with 4 blockers on the net.

- Attacking side runs an offensive play against the double block.

- If the attacking side gets the ball past the block, the defending side continues to play the rally out with its defenders.

- The 4th blocker (right side) steps off the court after the serve to open space, re-entering when the ball transitions back to the attacking side.

- Attacking side works toward a set goal (e.g., 3 kills out of 5 swings or 7 out of 10 swings).

- Suggested reps: Run 2–3 rounds of 10 attacks per side, lasting about 6–8 minutes per round.

## Key Coaching Points
- Blockers: Focus on footwork, timing, and hand positioning to close the block.

- Hitters: Stay aggressive while learning to adjust swings to tool the block or hit around it.

- Defenders: Anticipate blocked or deflected balls and stay ready to extend rallies.

- Setter Role: Mix sets to keep blockers guessing.

- Common Game Situation: Replicates match scenarios where attackers must face a disciplined double block while defenders cover behind.

This is a game-like drill that combines offensive pressure with blocking and defensive training, making it ideal for scrimmage-style practice.

## Variations & Progressions
- Blocker Rotation: Switch which blocker rotates off the court to give all players practice.

- Target Zones: Require hitters to aim for seams or deep corners.

- Scoring Challenge: Award bonus points for tool swings off the block or for clean stuff blocks by defenders.
