## Setup & Court Layout
- Players: Entire team

- Equipment: One volleyball per partner group

- Court: Open space, spreading out to start in pairs

## Step-by-Step Instructions
- Players begin in pairs, passing or setting back and forth.

- On the coach’s whistle, two pairs join together to make a group of four.

- On the next whistle, groups of four expand to six players, continuing to keep the ball in play.

- The process repeats until the entire team is working together as one large group.

- Suggested reps/time: Run the drill for 8–10 minutes, restarting if the ball drops early.

## Key Coaching Points
- Encourage communication at every touch.

- Stress platform control when passing and soft hands when setting.

- Motivate players to keep count of successful touches out loud for accountability.

- Common Game Situation: Builds trust and rhythm among teammates, mirroring the constant need for reliable ball control in serve, receive, and free ball situations.

This is an excellent team chemistry drill for warm-ups or practice sessions that combine fun with skill-building.

## Variations & Progressions
- Restrict to only passing or only setting for more focus.

- Add a minimum number of touches in a row before expanding to a larger group.

- Compete between two halves of the team to see which group keeps the ball in play the longest.
