## Objective
Develop consistent technique, court awareness, and team communication in defense, hitting, middle hitter, offense, outside hitter, passing, setting through high-repetition game-like execution.

## Setup & Court Layout
- Players: 3 hitters in offensive lines, 1 setter, 3 back-row defenders, 3 front-row defenders

- Court: Full court, with offense on one side and defense on the other

- Equipment: Volleyballs, net

- Roles: Coach tosses to setter, hitters attack, defense works to dig and block

## Step-by-Step Instructions
- Coach initiates by tossing a ball to the setter.

- Setter sets to one of the three attacking lines.

- Hitter executes a full approach and aggressive attack.

- Scoring & Rotation:
If the hitter scores a kill, they remain on offense and earn 1 point.
If the hitter does not score, they rotate off to the back row of the defensive side.

- Defensive players rotate forward: back row → front row → hitting line.

- Continue until the offense reaches a predetermined number of points (e.g., 15 points).

- Suggested reps: Run for 10–12 minutes per round, ensuring every player rotates through offense and defense multiple times.

## Key Coaching Points
- Hitter Mindset: Emphasize terminating the rally—no “easy balls” back over the net.

- Aggression with Control: Hitters should swing hard but maintain placement and vision.

- Setter Role: Encourage variability in sets to challenge defense and prepare hitters.

- Defensive Focus: Defenders must be disciplined, ready to dig, and anticipate swings.

- Common Game Situation: Replicates the pressure of needing to terminate rallies to avoid giving the opponent a chance at a side-out.

This is a high-energy offensive drill perfect for mid- or late-practice when training hitters to attack under pressure and finish plays.

## Variations & Progressions
- Play It Out: Allow the defense to continue the rally instead of stopping on first contact.

- Structured Sets: Require attackers to hit in a specific order or off designated sets (e.g., quick, outside, or back-row attack).

- Scoring Twist: Award bonus points for creative kills (tooling the block, deep corner shots).
