## Objective
Develop consistent technique, court awareness, and team communication in blocking, defense, hitting, middle hitter, offense, outside hitter, passing, setting through high-repetition game-like execution.

## Setup & Court Layout
- Players: 3 hitters, 1 setter, 2 passers on one side; 3 blockers on the opposite side

- Court: Full court, focusing on front-row offense against blocking defense

- Equipment: Volleyballs, net

- Roles: Coach initiates with toss, passers receive, setter sets, hitters attack, blockers defend

## Step-by-Step Instructions
- Coach begins play with a toss to a passer.

- Passer delivers the ball to the setter.

- Setter may set any hitter, running standard team plays or quicks.

- Hitters attack aggressively against the block.

- Scoring:
Offense earns 1 point for every hard-driven ball that lands past the block.
Blockers earn 1 point for every significant touch or stuff block at the net.

- Play continues with the coach initiating new balls.

- After several rallies, rotate setter and passers to the opposite side so all players practice multiple roles.

- Suggested reps: Play to a set score (e.g., 10–15 points) or run for 8–10 minutes per round.

## Key Coaching Points
- For Hitters: Emphasize aggressive swings with vision—aiming for seams, hands, or deep corners.

- For Blockers: Stress timing, footwork, and closing the double block. Only count meaningful touches.

- For Setters: Vary set choices to challenge the block.

- For Passers: Deliver quality passes to give the setter full options.

- Common Game Situation: Simulates real match offense vs. defense battles where strong sideout hitting meets disciplined team blocking.

This is a high-intensity competitive drill that’s perfect for mid- to late-practice when you want players working under game-like offensive and defensive pressure.

## Variations & Progressions
- Two-Hitter Rotation: Use only two front-row hitters and add a setter for both sides.

- Scoring Adjustment: Award 2 points for a stuff block, 1 point for a controlled block touch.

- Tempo Focus: Force the setter to run quick-tempo sets to test the block’s reaction.
