## Objective
Develop consistent technique, court awareness, and team communication in warm-up, ball control, passing through high-repetition game-like execution.

## Setup & Court Layout
- Instruct the players to split into partners with one ball between the two players.
- Players should position themselves about 10 to 20 feet apart depending on the skill level of the players.
- One player is working while the other player is only responsible for tossing the ball to the working player.
- Thrower should position themselves near the net and the passer facing the net.

## Step-by-Step Instructions
- The thrower will toss a ball to the passing player who simply returns a forearm pass back to the thrower.
- The thrower should catch the ball and repeat. By having the thrower catch the ball the passer can focus on receiving a clean ball and focus on ball control.
- Have the players switch roles after a predefined time or after a certain number of contacts.

## Key Coaching Points
- Balanced Ready Position: Maintain bent knees, weight forward on the balls of your feet, and hands ready before contact.
- Early Communication: Call every ball loudly and early ('Mine!', 'Got it!') to establish clear court ownership.
- Platform & Hand Discipline: Solidify passing angles early and extend fully through the ball toward the intended target.
- Safety: Keep the court perimeter clear of stray volleyballs and maintain spatial awareness at the net.

## Variations & Progressions
- Have the passing player move 2-3 steps to the right, left, back, or front and the thrower should toss the ball to the new spot and have the passer return the ball after moving.
