## Objective
Develop consistent technique, court awareness, and team communication in ball control, passing through high-repetition game-like execution.

## Setup & Court Layout
-
Players: 3 passers, 3 tossers

-
Court: Full court, passers lined up on the 10-foot line facing the net

-
Equipment: Volleyballs, net

-
Roles: Tossers send balls into the net, passers react and control the rebound pass

## Step-by-Step Instructions
-
Passers start in a low, ready position at the 10-foot line, facing the net.

-
Each tosser throws a ball over the passer’s head into the net, creating an unpredictable rebound.

-
The passer reads the rebound, stays low, and uses proper forearm passing technique to control the ball.

-
Emphasize reading the ball off the net:
Top of the Net: Ball drops almost straight down.
Middle of the Net: Ball deflects outward slightly.

-
Continue for 8–10 reps per passer or about 3 minutes per round, then rotate roles.

## Key Coaching Points
- Stay Low: Maintain bent knees and balanced posture.

- Platform Control: Keep arms locked and angled toward the target—avoid swinging.

- Anticipation: Teach players to read where the ball will fall depending on where it hits the net.

- Reaction Speed: Quick first step is key to keeping the ball playable.

- Communication: Encourage calling the ball even in scramble situations.

- Common Game Situation: Useful for handling serves that clip the tape, digs that rebound into the net, or block deflections that drop back into play.

## Variations & Progressions
-
Down Ball Variation: Tossers hit controlled down balls into the net instead of tossing.

-
Serve Variation: Servers serve into the net to create more unpredictable rebounds.

-
Scoring System: Award points for accurate passes to a designated target zone.
