## Objective
Develop consistent technique, court awareness, and team communication in warm-up, passing through high-repetition game-like execution.

## Setup & Court Layout
-
Players: Any number of players

-
Court: Half or full court with cones arranged in a W pattern

-
Equipment: Cones (volleyball optional for progression)

-
Roles: Passers move through cones, coach monitors technique

## Step-by-Step Instructions
-
Place cones in a W pattern across the court.

-
Players begin at the first cone and move from cone to cone in a low passing position.

-
At each cone, the player mimics a forearm pass to a target, focusing on keeping the platform angled correctly.

-
Continue along the W path until all cones are completed.

-
Repeat the pattern for a preset number of rounds (e.g., 3–5 full cycles per player). Each cycle should take about 1 minute.

-
Total drill duration: 5–7 minutes as part of warm-up.

## Key Coaching Points
-
Stay Low: Keep your knees bent, weight forward, and chest over your toes.

-
Platform Control: Keep arms locked and angled toward the target at every cone.

-
Movement: Shuffle or small, quick steps; avoid crossing feet.

-
Target Awareness: Always face the intended passing target when mimicking passes.

-
Progression: Ensure fundamentals are solid before introducing live balls.

This drill is a great warm-up activity to instill correct passing posture and body control before advancing to live serve receive drills.

## Variations & Progressions
-
Coach Toss Progression: After the technique is established, the coach can toss a ball at each cone for players to pass to a target.

-
Reverse Path: Run the W pattern in reverse to reinforce balance in both directions.

-
Timed Challenge: Have players complete the W pattern within a set time while maintaining technique.
