## Objective
Develop consistent technique, court awareness, and team communication in ball control, setting through high-repetition game-like execution.

## Setup & Court Layout
- Players: Groups of 3 with one volleyball

- Court: Small space or half-court setup

- Equipment: Volleyballs

## Step-by-Step Instructions
- Players line up in a straight line with one middle player between two outside players.

- The left player begins with a toss to the middle player.

- The middle player sets the ball straight up to themselves, pivots 180 degrees, and sets to the right player.

- The right player sets the ball back to the middle player.

- The middle player again sets the ball straight up to themselves, pivots 180 degrees, and sets to the left player.

- The pattern continues until an error is made or coach stops the drill.

- Suggested reps: Each middle player completes 10–12 full rotations before switching out, or run drill for 6–8 minutes with frequent rotations.

## Key Coaching Points
- Emphasize consistent hand placement and proper setting technique.

- Encourage quick, balanced 180-degree pivots to face each target.

- Remind players to keep sets high and controlled for easier repetitions.

- Rotate players frequently to avoid fatigue for the middle setter.

- Common Game Situation: Replicates setter responsibilities to turn and set multiple directions under pressure in live play.

This is a high-repetition ball control drill that builds setter stamina, accuracy, and awareness.

## Variations & Progressions
- Change the number of self-sets the middle player makes before setting left or right.

- Add a time limit (e.g., complete 20 continuous successful sets in 1 minute).

- For advanced players, increase the distance between players for more difficult sets.
