## Objective
Master spot-serving control to target deep corners and short seams (Zones 1 through 6) under competitive scoring pressure.

## Setup & Court Layout
- Court: Standard court with the opposing side clearly divided into the 6 official volleyball zones (Zones 1–6) marked with floor tape, cones, or flat agility dots.
- Equipment: Ball cart containing 10 volleyballs per station.
- Players: Servers lined up at the service line in Zone 1, 6, or 5. Two target shaggers on the receiving side collecting balls.

## Step-by-Step Instructions
- Zone Call: As the server prepares at the service line, the coach or partner calls out a specific target zone (e.g., 'Zone 1 Deep' or 'Zone 4 Short').
- Execution: The server performs their routine, toss, and serve aiming for the designated zone.
- Pressure Scoring:
• +2 Points: Ball lands cleanly inside the called zone.
• +1 Point: Ball lands in an adjacent zone over the net.
• 0 Points: Ball lands in the wrong half of the court.
• -2 Points: Service error into the net or out of bounds.
- Rounds: Each player serves a 10-ball round. A score of 12+ points earns a 'Master Server' badge.
- Rotation: Servers switch with shaggers after every 10-ball series.

## Key Coaching Points
- Consistent Toss Placement: Toss the ball 2–3 feet in front of your hitting shoulder with zero spin for float serves.
- Firm Contact with Open Palm: Strike through the center of the ball with a solid wrist and stop your hand on contact (no loose follow-through) to generate unpredictable float movement.
- Aim with Body Alignment: Point your lead foot and hips directly at the called zone prior to toss initiation.
- Pre-Serve Mental Routine: Take a deep breath, pick your precise spot on the floor, and commit to the target before tossing.

## Variations & Progressions
- Short-Serve Challenge: Target Zone 2, 3, and 4 in front of the 10-foot line to master the short float serve against deep serve-receive lines.
- Fatigue Serving: Require servers to perform 2 jump-touches or defensive tuck rolls before each serve to simulate late-set fatigue.
- Live Passer Target: Place a passer in the target zone—award bonus points if the serve forces an out-of-system pass.
