Volleyball - 2 Player Pepper Drill Multiple Hits

This pepper drill is great for working on ball control as it works on a variety of contact types.

Volleyball - 2 Player Pepper Drill Multiple Hits
VOLLEYBALL PEPPER DRILL, BALL CONTROL, DIGS, TOMAHAWK, SET, DOWN BALL
Drill Setup

  1. Split the team into groups of 2 with 1 ball per group.
  2. Have the players stand 10-15 feet apart.

Drill Instructions

  1. One player hits a down ball to their partner.
  2. The partner should dig the ball to themselves and follow up with the following hits to themselves: tomahawk (overhead), right fist, left fist, set, then return the ball with a down ball to their partner.
  3. This action is repeated.

Drill Variations

  • Alter the order or types of hits performed
